Mac Cooley
Mac Cooley rounds out the Navigo team as the director of Pathways and Partnerships to support the implementation of NaviGo College and Career Services by empowering middle school students, high school students and educators. As the Director of Pathways and Partnerships, Mac facilitates engaging work-based learning opportunities for youth, collaborates with schools, regional, community and business partners, to connect students to work-based learning, college and career opportunities. Mac continues to build strong relationships with families, business partners and educators to guide students to discover their goals and empower them to achieve their dreams.
Prior to joining the Navigo Team, Mac served as a public educator for 29 years as a social studies and English teacher, coach, Curriculum Specialist and Middle School principal. Mac earned his undergraduate degree from Centre College with a BA in History and English. He holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Northern Kentucky University and became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2007. Mac is also certified as an Education Specialist in Education Leadership.
Mac and his wife Amy are proud parents of Joe and Lucas, two recent graduates of Lloyd Memorial High School. Joe is currently attending Georgetown College earning a BA in History and Secondary Education and Lucas is attending Murray State University seeking a BS in Earth and Environmental Science. The Cooleys are long-time residents of the Erlanger, Kentucky, Community.
