Patricia Nagelkirk

Patty brings an extraordinary combination of youth and workforce expertise, strategic leadership, cross-sector partnership and organizational execution—and she already knows Learning Grove well.

From 2020–2023, Patty served as a strategic advisor to Learning Grove’s senior leadership, helping us navigate post-merger integration and align our growing organization around shared priorities. Long before that, her career was deeply rooted in creating stronger pathways for children and young people.

At United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Patty led the region’s largest education portfolio, directing up to $17 million in annual community investment across 10 counties and three states. She helped shape cradle-to-career strategies, brought schools, nonprofits, businesses and community leaders together around shared outcomes, and developed a common-measures initiative ultimately used by 120 youth-serving partners.

More recently, through her consulting practice, Patty has advised nonprofits, foundations and cross-sector initiatives locally and nationally on strategy, organizational change, stakeholder alignment and measurable execution.
